Meets the physical therapy rehab equipment risk management standards
The safety of patients and clinicians who use our physical therapy rehab equipment is our top priority.
We hold ourselves to a higher standard of equipment risk management and quality when we design and build our motorized rehab equipment.
Tri W-G products comply with the federal and international safety standards for our industry, so you can trust that your equipment investment meets the minimum requirements.
What is Risk Management?
Risk Management is a group of standards created by the International Organization of Standards (ISO) and recognized by the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA). These standards are meant to guide the industry toward developing equipment that prevents injury to both patients and health care providers, with the ultimate goal of manufacturing safer products.
Why Risk Management?
The simple answer is that it may protect people from injury and minimize liability situations. The standards are about prevention. Compliant products have already been tested to meet rigorous safety standards, so equipment planners, architects and facilities know what they are getting.
Certified Equipment
Uncertified equipment adds risk to your practice. By choosing certified physical therapy equipment from Tri W-G, you can minimize safety risks and liability concerns.
Tri W-G proactively implemented the new safety standards from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) before any other physical therapy equipment manufacturer. Our products are compliant to the ISO 14971 Risk Management Standard, and they carry the American Mark of Safety – UL® Classified 60601-1 safety label.
Planners should protect themselves by requesting the best physical therapy equipment for sale – products that meet ISO 14971. Don’t settle for companies whose equipment meets older standards, such as ISO 13845.
